How do you get to the Citadel of Dinant and where can you park?

The Citadel of Dinant is easy to reach by car. Free parking for cars and coaches is available at the top of the site. You can also reach the Citadel by train or on foot from the lower entrance, by climbing the iconic 408-step staircase — a real challenge, but worth it for the views over the valley.

Is the Citadel of Dinant accessible to visitors with reduced mobility?

Access for visitors with reduced mobility is only possible from the top of the site, via the upper entrance car park. Due to the historic nature of the fortress, some areas remain difficult to access.
