Contact and reservations

  1. Any reservation form completed, signed and returned marks a firm reservation. This will be effective after confirmation from La Citadelle de Dinant S.A. An average headcount must be stipulated on this same bulletin at the reserved area. This number must be final 10 working days before the date of travel.
  2. The tickets are given to one of the ticket offices on the day of the trip or excursion.
  3. If the customer does not specify another menu choice in writing, the restaurant “La Citadelle” will serve the menu specified on the program selected in the brochure. If the restaurant lacks space to accommodate a group, La Citadelle de Dinant S.A. reserves the right to place the group in one of its other rooms provided for this purpose or in another partner restaurant. La Citadelle de Dinant S.A. will notify the customer of this change in writing. La Citadelle de Dinant S.A. is committed to providing the same service.
  4. The customer has the right to cancel a firm reservation no later than 11 working days prior to the date of travel, at no cost. This renunciation must be justified in writing including the name of the association (or group or agency) and the date of the trip.
  5. In the event of late cancellation within the 10 working days preceding the day of the trip, La Citadelle de Dinant S.A. will invoice the customer an amount of 15% of the total amount based on the number of employees entered.
  6. On the day of the trip, the announced headcount must be respected. If the number is lower and has not been announced by fax, post, email within a reasonable period of time, the customer will be responsible for any lost perishable goods corresponding to the number of missing persons.
  7. When booking a program, La Citadelle de Dinant S.A. undertakes with other providers to guarantee the booked group; the latter cannot be held responsible for the costs that would result from a cancellation or a considerable reduction in people on the day of the trip; the resulting expenses and considered by the other providers according to their general conditions of sale will be re-invoiced to the customer.
  8. The customer expressly agrees to provide correct, current and complete information about himself in the reservation form. The Citadelle of Dinant reserves the right, when it has reasonable grounds to believe that the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete, to refuse the requested reservation.
  9. The texts, page creations, photos and illustrations remain the private property of La Citadelle de Dinant S.A., and of the service providers with whom La Citadelle de Dinant S.A. has concluded agreements.
  10. La Citadelle de Dinant S.A. has the right to modify, at any time, and without prior written authorization, the content of its general conditions of sale. Changes are effective from the moment they are published.
  11. The relationship between the customer and La Citadelle de Dinant S.A. is only subject to Belgian law. In the event of a possible dispute, only the courts of the district of Brussels will be competent, with La Citadelle de Dinant S.A. having its head office there. The parties agree to accept the following means of communication as proof of their relationship: mail, fax, email.
